Karuppan 1st day box office collection & movie review – Vijay sethupathi back with another commercial thriller
Karuppan movie review
Cast – Vijay sethupathi, Tanya Ravichandran, Kishore, Bobby Simha, Pasupathi
Direction – panner Selvam
Genre – action& drama
Karrupan as seen in the teaser and trailer the film is based on the story of jallikattu. The film begins with a plot in 1990’s where pasupathi asking Karuppan ( VJ) to win the that year’s jallikatu and agrees to give his sister to him if he wins. As usual, the main plot of the film is like the winning war between Karuppan and his opponent.
Tanya Ravichandran must be appreciated for her role as Anbu in karuppan where she shows the power of woman empowerment. Even though his brother forces to marry at first she didn’t accept the proposal then she agrees at her will. And even Sethupathi call her as Mr Anbu in the home these small things shows the power of her role.
The main reason for Vijay Sethupathi upgrowing Success is a selection of story choices. He makes sure not to select the same plot once again. He chooses varieties and the charm he is producing in his role is the main reason why audience fall for his acting.
In karuppan also he doesn’t miss to show his brilliance of acting skill. Bobby Simha back with what he is best at as villain once again after iraivi. Kishore and Pashupati also give their best.
What misses in Karuppan was the fast screenplay and a set of slow music.
Verdict: In an overall, I will say Karuppan can watch only if you love village action stories and Vijay sethupathi
