Chennai Express Story
The film displays Rahul, a young man runs a sweet shop established by his grandfather. Later, his grandfather death gives him a chance to enjoy his life and step out of the regular activities. However, first, he has a task of immersing his grandfather’s ashes in the holy waters of Rameshwaram.
In the train, Rahul meets a woman who is running from her four cousins because she is fleeing from a forced marriage. Later, he unintentionally becomes part of another journey to Komban village. Later, he witnesses that her cousins threw the ticket collector from the train. Her father Durgeshwara Azhagusundaram is a powerful headman of the local mafia in Tamil Nadu. What happens further in this journey of adventure, comedy, drama, action, and true love forms the rest of the story.
