What Vamsi Paidipally Had To Say :
The Director said when he had shared the idea of Maharshi with Mahesh Babu he was thinking of saying no. The reason for being busy with a lot of work. But after listening to the script Mahesh Babu changed his mind and was ready for the movie. Vamsi Paidipally had to wait for 2 years for final approval from the superstar.
Vamsi Paidipally has had lots of ups and downs in his career. His first movie as a director was a disaster but that didn’t stop him. He said, “I owe my career to all the actors who trusted me all these years. After Munna didn’t do well, when I pitched Brindavanam to NTR, he didn’t think twice before saying yes. The same thing happened with Ram Charan, Allu Arjun, and later with Nagarjuna and Karthi. I’m constantly learning with every film and my filmmaking to has evolved over the years,”
As of now, the director is riding high on the success of Maharshi. Vamsi Padipally also said “Filmmaking is an extremely difficult task these days. There are so many avenues for entertainment today. Amidst all that, making a good film, which strikes a chord with the public so much that keep talking about it long after watching it on screen, is no mean feat. I’m really happy that we were able to awaken the inner conscience of a lot of people through Maharshi. The film talks a lot about how our relationship with farming and the farmers’ community is diminishing. Today, when I see a lot of youngsters and students discussing farming, there’s a sense of achievement that I can’t describe,”
The Director said he has found a brother in Mahesh Babu and he is very happy with all the success the movie is getting. The movie which is going great Maharshi talks about the issues farmers are facing and will surely change the way people look towards farmers.
