Rajinikanth’s Darbar Movie First Single “Chumma Kizhi” got released today at 5 PM on YouTube.
Darbar is an upcoming Tamil-language action drama film of 2020. A.R. Murugadoss directs the movie. Allirajah Subhaskaran is producing the Darbar movie under the Lyca Productions banner. The film stars Rajinikanth, Nayanthara, and Sunil Shetty in lead roles. Anirudh Ravichander is scoring the music for Darbar after delivering the blockbuster Petta earlier this year. The movie posters are creating a massive buzz among superstar fans. Darbar is scheduled to release for Pongal (Sankranthi) next year.
Darbar is the 167th film of Superstar Rajinikanth. The film shoot started during April 2019 in Mumbai. A first look poster got released by Lyca Productions on the same day. Lady superstar Nayanthara was cast opposite Rajinikanth as the leading lady. Sunil Shetty got selected as the main antagonist marking his second film in Tamil. He is returning to Kollywood after 18 long years.
The other cast members include Nivetha Thomas, Yogi Babu, Thambi Ramaiya, Sriman, Prateik Babbar, Dalip Tahil, Nawab Shah, and Jatin Sarna. Santosh Sivan is the cinematographer, and Sreekar Prasad is the editor of the movie.
The movie shooting got completed and is currently under the post-production stage. Superstar Rajinikanth completed dubbing for his part earlier this month. The film is getting dubbed into Telugu, Hindi, and Malayalam languages also.

Darbar has Rajinikanth portraying a police officer role after 27 years. Ace filmmaker AR Murugadoss is joining hands with Superstar Rajinikanth for the first time. After releasing the posters of the film, Darbar Motion Poster got released on 7 November 2019 with theme music composed by Anirudh. It got published by Kamal Hassan, Mahesh Babu, Salman Khan, and Mohanlal for Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Malayalam versions, respectively, on YouTube.

The latest update from the makers is that the first song from Darbar would be released on 27 November 2019. The first single “Chumma Kizhi” got released today at 5 PM. The evergreen SP Balasubramanyam sing & Vivek is giving the song lyrics. Chumma Kizhi is another mass song after the chartbuster “Marana Mass” song from Petta. Rajinikanth is looking cool & stylish in the lyrical video.
