The Petrified Village
Stree movie talks about a women Spirit who is known to attack men at night. All this incident takes place in a small town named Chanderi, where all the men are petrified. In fact, all the men in the village are dressed as women during the festival time, as most of the mean gets discovered at the same time. Hence, everyone in the village plans not to come out after 10 pm.
Vicky Meets An Unknown Girl and The Mystery Book
On the other hand, the main lead, Vicky (Rajkummar Rao) is shown as a ladies tailor, falls in love with an unknown girl. In fact, his friend starts thinking her a Stree (The woman spirit), because only Vicky has seen her. Later, Vicky comes across the book that contains all the information about Stree and hot to get rid of her.
Later, when Vicky’s friends try to inform her about the girl he loves is Stree, Vicky starts analyzing her behavior. But later it seems that she is a normal girl who is there to investigate Stree.
When Jaana Is Kidnapped By Stree
In fact, the actual story of this movie starts when Jaana gets kidnapped by Stree. When he appears back, he becomes abnormal and starts behaving weird after 10 pm. As a result, Vicky plans to save him and get rid of Stree. Hence, he visits the librarian to find out the write of the book he found. Later, when they meet him. they get to know that only Vicky is the one who could save the village from Stree.
Climax
Now, everyone is set to put Vicky’s life in danger. Also, Vicky agrees as he wanted to get rid of this Spirit. Hence, Vicky, the girl, Jaana, and the librarian plans to lure the spirit and capture her so that they can save the villagers. To do that they need to cut Stree’s hair so that they can control her. Finally, after several attempts, they somehow managed to control her and save the village.
