There was no news about Deepika Padukone’s new movie, but today she finally revealed the first look of her new movie, Chhappak. Also, in her tweet, she said: “A character that will stay with me forever, Malti.”
With Deepika‘s statement, it becomes clear that she will be playing Malthi’s character an Acid attack survival. Whereas, the movie is directed by Meghna Gulzar who is popularly know for Raazi. In fact, Deepika and Laxmi did discuss the issue back in 2014, when they met at NDTV India.
This will really be one of the best movies from Deepika. There’s no doubt that the movie has already created a buzz after the first poster was out. Also, the release date for this movie has already been confirmed. As of now, the movie is set to release on 10th Jan 2020. Which means, that we might get to see the first teaser by November 2019.
